About our honey

Our bees have collected their nectar and pollen from the gardens, trees and farmland across Enfield to produce this year's deliciously floral honey harvest.

Raw means it is cold extracted straight from the hive and is never pasteurised, so it retains all of the beneficial natural enzymes and proteins.

There's really nothing quite like the taste of fresh, local honey.

Bee Care

Our bees are very important to us so their welfare is a priority. Throughout the year we ensure they are healthy and safe. And of course, happy bees produce delicious honey!

The Honey Harvest

If the weather and foraging conditions have been good for our bees, they will have filled a enough combs for us to harvest and use for honey sales. Lucky you!

Extracting

This is the point where all the frames of honeycomb are uncapped, spun out in our extractor, cold filtered and left to settle for a few days. The final stage is filling the jars and labelling.

Did you know:

It takes 22,700 bees to fill a single jar of honey
